• We are moving

After several years in Colorado we are moving to Florida to be closer to family.   We will certainly miss everyone that we have met at Denver Comic-con, Starfest, Mile High-Con, PirateFest, etc

The last two weeks of June, we will not be able to take any new orders while we are moving inventory

  • Elizabeth Celtic Fest

Almost have the trailer packed to set up for the Elizabeth Celtic Fest here in my hometown in Colorado.  It’s a great time seeing all the clans march and play their bagpipes.  Don’t get to see much of the highland games because I’m in the booth but I hear they’re a blast.  And the food!!!!!  Hope to see you there.  Or if you live out of the area, search out these festivals and events.  They’re a great way to see some local color and share in some history and heritage.

  • Denver Comic-Con

Wrapped up the 2016 Denver Comic-Con.   Lots of fun for us, got to see new faces and old friends.    We expanded our booth this year to 10X20 but was still pretty crowded so considering adding more on for next years show.    All in all a good show for us this year (except for being rear ended on our way home from setting up on Thursday by a hit and run driver)    Thanks to everyone that stopped by the booth we had a great time chatting and looking at everyone’s costumes.        Looking forward to next year

  • Starfest

Ana BolenaDoing Starfest this weekend.   Great event, get to see a lot of familiar faces both vendors and customers.   Getting some interest in the new clothing line, and selling a lot of shoes.starfest1 starfest4 starfest3 starfest2
  • Denver Motorcycle Expo

We had a booth at the Motorcycle Expo last weekend in Denver.   Started out okay and sold a few hats until the shooting started between two motorcycle gangs.   Our booth was only about 20 feet away from the mayhem but thankfully no vendors or customers were hurt.      Appreciate the police showing up and hanging out with us for several hours.

  • Store Closure

As posted on the home page, there was a dispute between the property owner and lease holder that has forced us to close the store. As you can imagine this was pretty disappointing as we had just put everything together and the store was looking very good. We had passed out a lot of business cards at Mile Hi Con in Denver and were looking forward to the Christmas shopping season. For now we will put more focus on the website and continue to look for a new location in early 2016.

  • Mile Hi Con

Today is the first week anniversary of the store and we’re loving it! We’ll be at Mile Hi Con in Denver for 3 days starting tomorrow. It’s such a great event. Looking forward to seeing familiar faces and new ones as well. The store will still be open, so come see us at either location. Mention the website and we’ll give you 10% off!

  • Store is open

  • New Steampunk / Victorian Store

We are often asked during our shows if we have a physical store. Well we took the plunge and signed a short term lease on a store front in Parker, CO. Our open date will be Oct 15th and we will post pictures once it is set up.

Very exciting and very scary at the same time.   The store will be a mixture of Victorian and steampunk items from Magrid’s Closet and we have invited a few local artist/makers to bring in their products in as well.

    Hope to see you there
